In our football classes for kids, children develop essential technical abilities including ball control, dribbling, passing, receiving, and accurate shooting. They also learn how to use different parts of the foot and apply these skills in small-sided games, helping them improve quickly in a fun, practical way.
Every session in our kids football coaching programme includes dynamic warm-ups, cool-downs, and engaging activities that build speed, balance, endurance, and coordination. All exercises are designed to keep children active while making fitness enjoyable and game-focused.
Beyond football skills, our classes help children make friends, communicate effectively, and work as part of a team. They also develop confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset by learning from challenges, celebrating achievements, and applying lessons both on and off the pitch.
Our football classes for kids run year-round in most locations. Once you have secured a place, your child will have priority enrolment for the next course. We’ll keep you updated throughout the course with all the information you need to continue their football journey.
We aim to run all of our kids football sessions on consecutive weeks. Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, sessions may need to be cancelled or moved to an alternative playing surface. If a class is cancelled, it will be added to the end of the course. All updates will be sent via text message.
Every four weeks, we run a tournament night as part of our children’s football coaching programme, giving every child the chance to put their training into practice in fun, friendly matches.
Coaches split teams evenly, and children compete in matches for the evening. We encourage a healthy desire to win while avoiding a “win at all costs” mentality. Points are awarded not only for winning games but also for teamwork, communication, encouraging others, using new skills, and finding space.
Our coaches are aware of the standard children need to reach to be considered for professional academy trials. If a child is showing advanced ability, scouts will notified so the player can be considered for further opportunities.
